Each day, I strive to love and live for the Lord. When my house is quiet and my heart is open, I let the Lord speak. It is in those quiet moments that I find God’s word develop into a guide for my life, an answer to my prayers, and a focus for my day. I have four young children and am a stay-at-home, work-at-home mom. This blog is my opportunity to share what the Lord is doing in my life; my prayer is that God uses this blog in yours.
Several years ago, I discovered my passion for writing for the Lord. My little sister Kallie died in a car accident when she was in eighth grade. In her memory, I wrote a devotional discussing issues that teenage girls may face. Although I no longer have the opportunity to help my sister through these struggles, I was able to give the devotional to four of my younger cousins; the girls received this as a Christmas gift the year they were in eighth grade. While writing this, I felt God working through me, and I’ve continued to write. I find that writing brings me joy with or without an audience.
